This press wants to call attention to a matter of general importance: the case of the Banking Group Delta (in the press of national trade unions of 06/15/2010) and "Protocol concerning the labor market and employment signed by the secretariat national trade unions credit and ABI on December 16, 2009 .

in the protocol is written that the Solidarity Fund has allowed in these 10 years to address the tensions and workers in the banking system, but the Fund's measures to manage the redundancy have become burdensome and " are no longer fully appropriate to the needs of employers and workers " .
It therefore establishes the creation of a Department-emergency Fund applicable to redundant workers who are not eligible to access the Fund.
For these workers, after completion of contract procedures and preventive law (Law 223/1991 on collective redundancies ) and reached a corporate agreement, the Department would either provide for an emergency situation up to 24 months receive a grant of income support equal to amounts ranging from 60 to 80% of salary .
At first we wonder about why the measures provided by the Fund Solidarity no longer appropriate to the needs of workers. Substance see that section in the agreement establishing the emergency situation is not the slightest trace of content that engage businesses and workers to resolve the crisis through concrete measures of solidarity at the level of banking system , in some cases the only ones that can make possible the preservation of jobs. The result is that through this agreement in business realities becomes weaker and isolated the real scenario in Section-emergency placement of those workers that do not qualify for personal access to the Solidarity Fund.

What we have to acknowledge: that the crisis does not undermine the profit margins that are distributed to fatten the pockets of the apical structure of the companies, while refusing to consider the ABI real solidarity measures to protect the work and to actually into question the tools already contracted?
In this way, even as the government extends the deadline for the board and the companies claim to be "unusable in the future," the Solidarity Fund, Abi the meantime it opens the way generally collective redundancies based on the evaluation of convenience of the companies freed from any obligation of protection of fundamental workers' needs, we repeat it-where-is not in the protocol nor any of 16/12/2009 recall efforts to protect the work.
